Meet your new next door neighbor - A Homeless Shelter

Just when you thought Bob Blumenfield's ideas couldn't get any worse, we unfortunately had to learn that yes, they actually can. During the February 24th Homelessness & Poverty Committee Meeting a motion passed, that Blumenfield not only supported but seconded, that directs City Planning to report back on how religious, charitable and non-profit institutions can legally get around zoning laws to establish and operate homeless shelters and temporary housing, as a matter of right, anywhere in the city. Right in the middle of your single family zoned neighborhood. Plus, how to make existing temporary and emergency shelters permanent. That would never happen on my watch. Had Enough?
